It’s Over

Monday, May 20, 2013

It was a mixture of emotions—of sadness and happiness, of misery and joy. And I realized everything was about to end really, really soon.

So I am done writing for The Philippine Star (for now, maybe) and I am writing for you again this time, Wordpress. I am not to announce whatever happened in Makati, Taguig, or MMDA-based areas, but I am simply going to jot down my thoughts and feelings now that it is over.

On my last day, I did not know what to expect and what to feel. On one side, I was glad my internship’s about to finish because I have been longing to have a two-week vacation at least before my last academic year starts. And on the other, I was dismayed I had to already “leave” the people (ehem) and places I used to spend my every day with this summer.

To enumerate each lesson I have learned in 200 hours, would take me 200 hours more. But in general, I am confident to state that 200 hours of my life have been well-spent and if wasted, they were wasted conservatively.

Sunday night is quite unusual with nothing to worry about the next day. (Oh wait, I have some errands to run at school.) Well, at least not to think of what I should wear tomorrow or where to go and what resourceful way to ride.

At the end of the day, life goes on and we move on now that it is all surreally over.
