Dear The-One-Who-Cares-More Self,

I know how hard it has been for you for the past years of always being the one who cares more. You were the reason why all relationships ended before they started. It was all because of you, always being the one who cares more. Your submissiveness and stay under someone’s thumb turned your heavenly dreams into helly nightmares.

So at the end, you were always the one who’s left behind because you were the one who always cares more.

This time, please stop messing up the good potential of working things out. Try to care less. No matter how difficult, no matter what the odds will be, try be the one who cares less. Because Penny Lane in Almost Famous said, “Never take it seriously. If you never take it seriously, you never get hurt.”

Always remember that people are attracted to mystery. People are captivated by the things they think they can’t have. People are drawn to those they think don’t want them back.

It’s time for a change. It’s time to resist the urge to care. It’s time to hide the truth that someone actually matters.

Good luck.

Love,

The-One-Who-Will-Care-Less Self
